Lately I’ve been watching YouTube videos as a means of procrastination because they’re typically short and they’re great to watch when you’re multitasking. I watch a wide variety of channels so if you’re looking for something new, I gotchu. It can be really difficult to find good channels and quality YouTube channels to watch, so I decided to do a little bit of a round up of some of my recommendations!
These are all Paige approved YouTube channels to watch that I actually watch, so please check them out and let me know how you like them!
If you like Lifestyle & Fashion Videos..
Siena Mirabella
Her channel is one of my absolute favorites because of her deadpan humor and beautiful aesthetic. She’s one of those channels where I watch every video, regardless of what the video even is. She posts a nice variety from clothes hauls to book recommendations!
Kendall Rae
I will literally sit and watch any of her videos. I’ve watched her wedding vlogs, rants, tutorials, hauls…BUT, some of my favorite videos of hers are related to conspiracy theories. They’re super unique and interesting to watch.
If you like makeup and beauty…
RachhLoves
I love that she does a mix of drugstore and high end makeup. She tests out a lot of products and gives honest reviews, plus she has a really great personality to watch! Some of my favorite videos to watch are her dupes videos.
ThatGirlShaexo
Her channel is particularly good if you like makeup tutorials and looks, she also does a lot of swatching videos and try-ons for lipsticks, which I like! Her videos are so positive and upbeat, which is perfect to cure a bad mood. She’s also really sweet and often answers Snapchats and comments, which makes me so hyped.
Kathleen Lights
Her personality is wonderful and she’s also super honest! I love that she mixes both high-end and low-end products in her tutorials and reviews.
If you like DIYs and crafts…
Thread Banger
This is my favorite YouTube channel. Rob & Corrine are hilarious and they test out all of those pins you see all over Pinterest but always wonder if they actually work. They’re a married duo and they’re both equally entertaining. Of all of the YouTube channels to watch, I would recommend them the most.
The Sorry Girls
This Canadian duo does such a wide variety of trendy DIYs from thigh high boots to room decor to Halloween costumes to thrift store challenges and I’m totally obsessed.
LaurDIY
She always creates such colorful and trendy DIYs, I love seeing what she creates. They’re often pretty practical and doable, which is always a plus. This is one of those YouTube channels to watch if you need some inspo for sure. Her videos are like Pinterest but actual real life.
Annika Victoria
Even though I have no intention whatsoever of learning how to sew or creating clothing, she does a lot of “Make, Thrift, Buy” videos where she recreates really cool clothing. These videos are super calming to me and I love watching what she creates!
If you like fitness and healthy eating…
Cambria Joy
She is the bubbliest, sweetest person! Her channel has a lot of healthy recipes and even though I don’t make them often, it’s great healthy eating inspo. She also posts plenty of healthy tips and workouts, which I love.
blogilates
You most likely know of this channel. My favorite is the Call Me Maybe Mighty Squat Challenge. It’s absolutely killer and you really feel the burn. These workouts are perfect for doing in your dorm and they’re great if you really just want to go to the gym.
If you like to laugh…
h3h3 productions
Their reaction videos seriously crack me up. I’ve watched every single one of them…seriously. They don’t film reactions as often anymore but they still have a lot of funny videos. Of course everyone’s sense of humor is different, but I find a lot of these videos to be pretty entertaining.
Simply Nailogical
Really? A nail channel as comedy? Yes, really. Christine is so freaking funny in her videos, especially the ones where she tests out different nail products! Even if you don’t totally care about nails, she’s very interesting to watch
communitychannel
While she doesn’t post very often, when she does post her videos are genuinely relatable and very funny.
I love RachhLoves and communitychannel/Nat, and fun fact: I was at the same PR event as LaurDIY a few years back, but I didn’t know who she was at the time L O L. I don’t watch Lauren though, but the thing about Toronto is that since the community is small, I have friends that are friends with her, haha.
Ohh that’s so cool! I forget she’s from Toronto all of the time, her videos seem so California but I guess most YouTubers aim for that California aesthetic haha
