HUGE elf Cosmetics Haul + Review Post // EW&PTSo the other day I get a text from my mom saying there’s a huge elf sale going on in CVS at the mall. There were no signs or explanations but she said she was scanning the prices of some elf cosmetics and they were ringing up super cheap. Like, some of this stuff was $0.25. A quarter.

  So, knowing my love for all things makeup and a good deal, we ended up getting so many things. Are most of these excessive? Yes. We have no control when it comes to a good deal. A lot of these things I’ll probably end up giving to friends, family or using for when I do other people’s makeup, but I thought I’d share all of the things I got along with a miniature review. My Pinterest fashion boards are out of hand and, honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever used them to style an outfit. This post How To Use Pinterest To Create Outfits is super helpful. I ought to use this.

I’m still in college, but I really love this post What I Wish I Knew About Life After College. I’m a sucker for doses of reality and honesty–this has both.

This article on Retail Etiquette 101 is so fascinating. I always wonder what people who work at different places are actually thinking or wish we knew.

This post Instagram vs. Reality is exactly my life. Flashback to two weeks ago when I was on the bus and artfully arranging my raspberry macaron on the hem of my dress to take a pic for Instagram.  This is so accurate and I relate to this on so many levels. Seriously.

Caravan Stylist Studio Beauty Event: Insider Info, Swag Bags & More!
I went to my first fancy beauty event and it was pretty sweet. I heard about it from a Facebook post! A girl from my college posted about her internship at the Caravan Stylist Studio and mentioned a beauty event looking to invite bloggers and beauty interns. I am currently both of those things so I messaged her and scored an invite! I also brought along my make-up obsessed friend Gab to help!

Track-by-Track Album Review: Shawn Mendes’ “Handwritten”

I heard about Shawn Mendes when his music video for Stitches was mentioned in a BuzzFeed article. I literally get all of my news about everything from that app and when I found this video, I wasn’t so much impressed by the video (although it’s not bad) but the song pulled in me on the first few notes. Mendes wrote for all of the tracks on this album (with the exception of three), hence the name “Handwritten”.

This album is described as being part of the Indie Pop genre which is my favorite genre. Indie + Pop = YES. I love it. My weakness for male voices, singer-songwriters and a good acoustic jam pushed me to write an album review! Here we go… Read More →
