20 lists everyone in their 20s should keep to make life easier and better

20 lists everyone should have in their 20s - ideas for lists to make to make life better and easier

Maybe it’s a result of my combination of poor memory, ESTJ Myer’s Briggs type, and limited attention span, but I love making lists. And I firmly believe there are lists everyone should have in their 20s. They can make your life easier and make you a better, more thoughtful person.

I have a list for just about everything. In fact, this post idea came to mind when I was eating Mallomars (so delicious) and thought I should probably include them on my list of favorite snacks.

I’ve made guides (including one from five years ago!!) about finding and getting internships, but I think now’s a good time to share an updated, more thorough one with even more helpful info.

Quick and easy post-grad full-time working girl makeup routine // ew & pt

Aside from adopting two kittens, one of the most major life changes I’ve experienced recently is starting to work full-time. Gone are the days of chunking all of my classes between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. and having swaths of free time in the afternoon! And I certainly miss those free afternoons. As much as I’m a morning person, I’m such an afternoon person. I love the middle of the day, especially when it’s nice out. There’s nothing quite like it and, now, five out of seven of my afternoons a week are spent in an office at work. Fortunately, I really like my job.

Unfortunately, I miss afternoons. That’s not all that’s changed. Another has certainly been my beauty routine! My makeup set up is now a vanity and lots of storage drawers combination whereas, in college, it was my-entire-desk-top and my top desk drawer. But my routine itself has changed, too.

Here’s how I’ve updated my makeup routine for post-grad, full-time job life.

The earliest dream job I can remember is Graphic Designer — back when I was twelve and was obsessed with designing and coding graphics for Neopets. Then, I had an HGTV obsession and wanted to be an Interior Designer for sure. I had an epiphany in high school that I was destined to be an elementary school teacher (this did not last long).

I then realized I really wanted to write…and now I think I want to edit. I might also want to be a journalism professor? I still don’t know what my actual dream job is — or if it even exists. That being said, there are a lot of things that can help you discover your dream job. Let’s figure it out together.
