This is one of my absolute favorite nail designs. Firstly, because it’s so easy and, secondly, because they are SO CUTE. I do these every Halloween and they’re pretty popular across all of the Pinterest world.
Even if your nail art skill level is “can barely paint nails one color let alone three,” you can absolutely do this design. It’s quick, easy and the perfect accent for any Halloween costume!
For this incredibly easy and basic design you need five things:
Base Coat
White Nail Polish
Yellow Nail Polish
Orange Nail Polish
Top Coat
Start off with your base coat when doing this design–it helps the nail polish last longer AND it stops the polish from staining your nails. It’s a win-win.
After the white is completely dry, you’re going to bust out the yellow. The best method for creating horizontal stripes is to keep your brush steady and slowly rotate your finger.
You’re going to save the orange for last because if you messed up the yellow a bit and don’t have a clean line, the orange can cover this up. Yay for covering up mistakes!
Boom! Your candy corn nails are complete. Swipe on a top coat and watch these babies shine. Don’t be afraid to Instagram them with some actual candy corn–that’d be incredibly Halloween aesthetic, wouldn’t it?
