If only I had an unlimited amount of cash to spend on make-up. IF ONLY. Instead of unlimited cash, I have limited cash that causes me to feel immense guilt when I spend $60 bucks or so a month on make-up. It’s a problem, but at least it’s make-up and not drugs. Obviously there are more important things to do before fall semester, but make-up shopping should totally be one of them. Anyways. Here are a few products that are on my back-to-school wishlist!
Physician’s Formula Eye Boost Instant Lash Extensions Kit – $14.99
I heard about this at the Carvan Stylist Studio #GirlInTheCity event I attended and I’ve been intrigued by it ever since. I’ve always wanted to try a mascara that had lash fibers and Physician’s Formula has a lot of great products so I should try this, but first I need to use up more of my mascara hoard before they get gross and old.
NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Luxemborg – $26
I initially wanted Dragon Girl because that’s the most-raved about lip pencil (and the one T. Swift supposedly wears) but I saw it in person and it’s too orange-y and warm-toned for me. Dragon Girl’s cool-toned cousin is Luxemborg and it’s SO PRETTY. Matte lip colors are my weakness—I’ll probably never dish out $26 on this, but it’s nice to daydream about.
Too Faced Natural Eyes Neutral Shadow Collection – $36
I kind of hate eye shadow palettes. One color always hits pan in less than a month while other colors sit permanently untouched—and they’re always expensive and bulky. Ever since I decided to splurge on the Naked 3 and really regretted it, I’ve been hesitant to buy palettes—especially high-end ones. This one, though, I had a knock-off version off and LOVED. All of the colors would get use. There’s not one color I would not use in this palette *sigh*. I might buy it right now. If only free shipping…
Update: I ended up ordering this (and a ton of other crap I didn’t need just to get free shipping) from Ulta. You can see more in My Ulta Haul. I feel a little better because with rewards points and a coupon I got $6 off. It hurts a little less. Sorry, wallet.
Colour Pop Ultra Matte Lip – Mars, Ouiji, Donut – $6
Colour Pop’s PR person did a helluva good job—every big YouTuber and blogger had the whole collection of these swatched and raved about. Matte lips colors are my ~*weakness*~ so needless to say I want these. No surprise, though, they’re all sold out. I’ll be patiently waiting for them to be in stock (and maybe for Christmas).
Nyx Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick – Stone Fox – $7
Like I said—I love matte lip creams and I love Nyx. Nyx’s soft matte lip crèmes are my everything, so this new line definitely caught my attention. I’m dying to try Stone Fox because I’ve never seen a lip color in quite that blueish gray shade before. Probably will never wear it, but still dying to try it. This is also sold out, *sigh*.
I got the Nars pencils for my birthday this year from Sephora and love them! I didn’t think I would, but after trying them, I want them in all colors!
They sound like the perfect gift! I’m dying to try them 🙂
I’ve been wanting to try the colour pop ultra matte lip, there are everywhere on my social media

They really are everywhere! They look so cool.:)
I always purchase a new under eye concealer when going back to school, my bags under my eyes get so bad!
Concealer is such a back to school essential!
That NARS lip pencil is honestly the best. Like, I’m too shy to wear loud lip colors, but I have it and I’ve worn it once, but felt awesome with it. Lol.
Red lips are the easiest way to feel like a total bad ass, I hope to try the lip pencil soon! :O
